The Fatted Calf Food Company was created in 2020 and was birthed through a love for food and a desire to serve. Our name is based on scripture found in the book of Luke 15:22 - 24, that speaks about family, forgiveness and fellowship. In the story of the prodigal son, the father was so elated that his son had returned home that he was no longer concerned about the differences that separated them. He wasn't interested in tracking wrongs. He wanted to celebrate! He ordered a FEAST of the finest foods and had his son dressed in the best attire. "Bring the fatted calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive; he was lost and is found." This is a story about reconciliation and restoration.....food was a significant part of the occasion.
